Last day of term 2!
Haha today was quite fun. Mr Teh was very nice:) first 3 hrs were normal lessons. Then we had CLL party! Each of us brought a bit of food and partied with the teachers. It was really fun! And the food were very nice :) We're all great cooks haha. Zhang lao shi, Lin lao shi and Ren lao shi came and ate too. They were very nice. Lin lao shi let us push back lesson by half an hour so that we can finish eating XD Yay! We should do that more often haha.
And after school went to celebrate Angelia's birthday at United Square. Gabriel went too! Super long nv see him already. We made a prata cake for her. The process of getting her there blindfolded was a tedious one for Caroline but was super funny and entertaining haha.

Yay! I'm finally here to blog properly:)
Today is an eventful day. Cuz we had SYF! exciting right? XD Shall narrate haha.
Reached school at 6.30 in the morning. Mark was earlier than me o.O Then started giving out stuff, prepare and everything. We all look so smart in our blazers :) Thank you Cynthia and Liangsai for the energy pack and note for every single band member. We warmed up and ran through the 2 pieces. And each had a banana and then went onto the bus. There were a lot of cameras around :)
We reached republic poly super early. Like the first band also reach not long ago or something and we were the second last band to perform lah. The band in front of us also haven't reach. We started taking pictures and entertaining ourselves I guess. And finally we went into the tuning room and ard 20 minutes later, we were on stage! Mr Leng was very funny. Cuz we lined up in different order from the one that we were supposed to enter in. Then as we walk in he was like "We going in in reverse order. Please use some brains" I kept wanting to laugh lah. Imagine the trumpets sitting at teh trombones side and vice versa. It'll be a major screw up even before we started playing. Oh and we didn't have enough chairs. The thirds had to squeeze 3 ppl into 2 chairs. Supposed to have 16 chairs but they only put 15. Lousy XP
Overture was not bad. But the duet wasn't the best that Luther and I played. The other parts were rather good. Hymn was quite good too. The bowing of the cymbal was really nice. It came out on time and everything :) But there was a mistake at around B/C cuz Mr Leng gave the cue one beat early then some ppl came in and some didn't o.O I wasn't looking and didn't know until it sounded a bit funny. The rest of the parts were okay. The singing was nice:) But towards the end, Luther and I were dying already. S was nice. Then half of T have no sound. Fortunately that part not so exposed cuz a lot of other ppl and woodwinds playing. Well, I think we did well overall. *gives ourselves a pat of the back XD*
After that we went outside and took lots of pictures! :) Band pictures, section pictures, batch pictures and stuff. I don't think we managed to take a Nanyang batch picture cuz the high school guys keep on crashing our picture -.- Then we went in to listen to the results. We got Gold :) We were like rather expressionless actually. Just sit there and clap. Some ppl cheered/ screamed a little. Then the band after us got gold with honours and they all jumped up and cheered and screamed like crazy haha. Whatever the results, we did our best and we'll have no regrets :)
Went bacl to school and had another mass taking photo session. And also mass instrument exchange. The guys were like blasting all the way lah. Super noisy. Lionel tried to compete with Yaze-.- I played the eupho and trombone! So nice to play :) Haha they had a hard time trying to get us to leave the bandroom. We finally left and almost the whole band went to Cathay.
Had lunch. Then went Ben's and Jerry's for ice-cream :D Haha my first time eating ice-cream there. Liangsai and Mr Leng each treated us to a monster. Thank you very much :) It's super big and we had 10 over ppl to finish one. I think the shop earned a lot of money from us today. And we started taking photos again :) After eating we went to play lan. My first time playing lan also. It was quite fun.
We played CS. And I totally didn't know what to do. Liangsai just told me to use the 4 keys to move and the mouse to shoot. So I anyhow run and stuff. I was really blur for the first few rounds lah. Run around and dunno who's the enemy and who's my friend then just manage to see one person then bang! I'm dead -.- I spend more time looking at other ppl play lah cuz I die super fast. Asked Liangsai how to play again then he told me to just try and stay alive. And I really dunno how to do anything else. Like there was once I was running around with a gun but no bullets then I dunno how to reload or change weapon lol. And I was wondering why I click the mouse already but the gun doesn't seem to be working. But when we went into the enclosed area, I became better. I managed to kill 13 ppl :) But there were some really zai ppl. Haha they mug lan. Esp all the instructors. They're super pro lah. Mr Leng say they play almost every night o.O
After lan, some ppl went home. Then some of us sit outside Cathay and talk rubbish and play games. It was really fun. We played tuki-tuki, animal mania, katong laksa and a lot of other games. Jia Jie is really cute. He gets super excited when playing tuki-tuki haha. And we go super fast and stuff. We ended up laughing a lot. Liangsai and Luther laugh until they were rolling on the floor haha. The chop chilli chop also very fun. Jia Jie has a lot of funny actions that we were laughing even before the actions reach us haha. And after that the guys went to eat and the girls went home.
Today was a really fun day! And I really don't feel like going to school tmr cuz I didn't do my zuo wen. But I shall be guai and go school unlike some ppl who will most probably be reading this at home while I'm at school XP
