Hello! 2. After the performance, we can stop practicing bolero and have normal band pracs. Yay! 3. Next week is sabbatical week! Haha... slack week Ok, anyway, Happy belated Birthday Alicia!!! I found out that it was your birthday when I read Jia Hui's blog :) trumpets forever
We had family concert rehearsal yesterday. It was quite exciting. The backstage of the esplanade was super big and nice... just that it looks a bit like a hospital. We had to share a room with Strings and Guzheng. It was quite a squeeze cos we were all big ccas.
The dresses of the modern dancers were quite cool. The yellow dress was like luminous and it was shining even in the dark. The scarves we got were not very nice. Joanna, Sylvia, Marilyn and I got the yellow scarf. It was one of the uglier ones. The blue was nicer and the other half of the section got it! hmph...
Oh, the Nanyang kinder garden children were so cute. They danced together with the modern dancers. They were dressed in checkered clothes i think. Their cheeks were so red, Marilyn said that it looks like a baboon's backside. Maybe the teachers were in a hurry when they helped them put on make-up. Anyway, I was surprised that they really knew the dance steps. I thought that they would just go on stage and look cute but they really danced the same steps with the modern dancers. So cute...
Can't wait for this Sat for a couple of reasons
1. Performance at the esplanade!!! Although I don't really like Bolero, performing at the esplanade is like once in a life time kind of thing
